How to Move out

As your lease term comes to an end, we want to ensure your move-out process is smooth and stress-free. Please make sure to return the property in the same condition it was when you moved in, minus normal wear and tear, and remove all personal belongings. All Brevard Property Management - Move-Out Instructions for Residents

Thank you for choosing All Brevard Property Management. As your lease term comes to an end, we want to ensure a smooth move-out process. Please follow the guidelines below to avoid any unnecessary charges and ensure a full return of your security deposit.

  • Notice Period: As outlined in your lease agreement, a written notice of intent to vacate must be submitted at least **30 days** before your lease end date. If you haven’t already, please send your notice in writing to All Brevard Property Management via email or certified mail.

  • General Cleaning:

    The property should be returned in the same condition it was at the start of your lease, minus normal wear and tear.

    Floors:

    Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors.

    Walls:

    Remove any nails, hooks, and wall adhesives. Patch and paint any small holes.

    Windows & Blinds:

    Clean all windows inside and out, and wipe down blinds.

    Fixtures:

    Dust and wipe down ceiling fans, light fixtures, and air vents.

    -Kitchen:

    Appliances:

    Clean the oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Remove all food items.

    Cabinets:

    Wipe down the inside and outside of cabinets and drawers.

    Sink & Counters:

    Disinfect countertops and clean sinks thoroughly.

    -Bathrooms:

    Tub/Shower & Toilet:

    Scrub and disinfect thoroughly, ensuring all soap scum, mildew, and grime are removed.

    Mirrors & Cabinets:

    Clean all mirrors and wipe down cabinets and shelves.

    Yard/Lawn (if applicable):

    Mow the lawn, trim bushes, and remove any personal belongings from outdoor spaces.

  • Final Pest Control Service: To ensure there are no pest-related issues for the next tenant, a pest control service may be required. Check your lease or consult with All Brevard Property Management for specific instructions.

  • Furniture & Belongings: Ensure all personal belongings, including furniture, are removed from the property. Any items left behind may result in disposal fees.

    Trash: Dispose of all trash and debris properly. Do not leave trash in the bins for collection after move-out.

  • Keys & Remotes: Return all keys (including mailbox keys), garage door openers, and any other access devices to All Brevard Property Management by the lease end date.

    Drop-Off Location: You may return the keys at our office or use the designated drop box at our office location.

  • Inspection: After you move out, our team will conduct a thorough inspection of the property. Please note that your security deposit will be refunded within **15-30 days** of your move-out date, provided there are no damages or outstanding balances.

    Deductions: Any damage beyond normal wear and tear, cleaning that was not completed, or unpaid utilities may result in deductions from your deposit. You will receive a detailed statement outlining any deductions.

  • Update Address: Provide us with your forwarding address to ensure that we can send your security deposit and any correspondence to the correct location.

  • Schedule a Walkthrough: If you'd like to do a final walkthrough with an All Brevard Property Management representative, please contact us at least **one week** prior to your move-out date to schedule.
